After breakfast, drive to Gangotri via the scenic Harsil valley. En route, take a holy dip in Gangnani hot water springs. Arrive in Gangotri by evening. Check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Trek from Gangotri to Bhojwassa via Chirbasa (3600 m). The trek follows the Bhagirathi River, passing through dense forests and barren landscapes. Bhojwassa features a small temple and a riverside campsite. Enjoy the sunset over the Bhagirathi peaks. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Morning views of the Bhagirathi peaks. Trek to Gomukh, the source of the Ganges, then ascend to Tapovan, a pristine high-altitude meadow with streams, wildflowers, and campsites. Spot Bharal (Blue Mountain goats) along the ridges. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.
Day free for acclimatization, relaxation, and exploration. Enjoy the snow-capped peaks, flora, and fauna. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Descend from Tapovan via Gomukh Glacier to Nandanvan (4340 m). The glacier walk features crevasses and rocky moraines. Exercise caution while trekking. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
