A sacred journey by foot that starts from Pantwari village, approximately a 55 kilometers drive away from Mussoorie, to the summit of Nag Tibba, which is at a height of 3,048 meters, the Mussoorie - Nag Tibba Trek not attracts the local villagers but also pulls in nature lovers from different corner of the world. The locals from the nearby villages often trek to the summit to offer their prayer to Nag Devta (Snake God) for the protection of their village. A perfect pick for the beginners to start their trekking experience and enjoy the serene beauty of the nature under the blue sky, the Mussoorie - Nag Tibba Trek is an easy trek in the Garhwal Himalayan region that also allows one to get acquainted with the Himalayan region and quaint culture of the folk. Reaching out to the summit one can also capture the majestic stretch of the Himalaya at a binocular distance from Swargarohini at 6,252 meters to Nanda Devi at 7,816 meters.

The Mussoorie - Nag Tibba Trek is relatively lesser known and unparallel trek near Mussoorie, which can be considered as a weekend trek. It is approximately a 3-4 days trail that commences from Pantwari and leads to a steep climb to Ghodippa, which is at an elevation of 2,800 meters via Morina Dhar that is tucked at a height of 2,350 meters. The trek from Morina Dhar to Ghodippa is mostly over a ridge that runs parallel to the beautiful horizon taken over by the Swargarohini range and Nanda Devi range. From Ghodippa a gentle climb of 15 kilometers winds at Nag Tibba and thereafter, camping overnight, the downhill trek leads to the picturesque village of Pantwari, which is at an elevation of 1,524 meters. The journey from Pantwari heads down to Nainbagh and the Mussoorie - Nag Tibba Trek leaving you with some of the best moments of your lifetime.

Day 01: Delhi - Dehradun - Mussoorie

We will start our tour by boarding an AC train from Delhi railway station for Dehradun. On reaching Dehradun in the afternoon, meet our tour representative who will be there for your welcome and thereafter to drive you to Mussoorie. Check in at the already booked hotel in Mussoorie and relax for a while. Thereafter in the evening, get ready to explore the famous Mall road of Mussoorie, which is an ideal place for shopping and spending a quality time. Later, we will return back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02: Mussoorie - Pantwari (50 kms / 2 hrs) - Nag Tibba

In the morning after breakfast, we will check out from the hotel in Mussoorie and leave by road for Pantwari, which is about 50 kms away and required around 2 hours to reach. From Pantwari, we will start our first trekking to Nag Tibba, which is a short yet interesting way to give a start to the excellent trekking experience. On reaching Nag Tibba, we will set up a camp and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 03: Nag Tibba

Today after morning breakfast, we will start our trekking to Nag Tibba Peak, which is about 3 kms away with packed lunch. On reaching Nag Tibba Peak, we will get an opportunity to witness the scenic views of the peak and the real natural beauty. Also, we will have our packed lunch here and spend some good time. Later in the afternoon, we will trek back to our campsite at Nag Tibba for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Nag Tibba - Devalsari (16 kms / 5-6 hrs)

After breakfast in the morning, we will get ready for another trekking experience. We will trek from Nag Tibba to Devalsari village, which is about 16 kms away and takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach the village. We will be carrying the packed lunch with us. On reaching the village, we will first have our packed lunch and thereafter, we are free to explore the beautiful Devalsari village. This village is famous for butterfly and bird watching. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the already set camp by our expert travel guides.

Day 05: Devalsari - Thatyur (8 kms / 2 hrs) - Dehradun - Delhi

On the last day of our tour after breakfast in the morning, we will leave from Devalsari village and trek to village of Thatyur, which is about 8 kms away and required around 2 hours to cover the distance. From Thatyur, we will drive to Dehradun railway station to board an AC train for Delhi. We will be reaching Delhi by 22:45 PM.
